Hound Trailing

In 1990/91 I made the most substantial single body of work in my career to date, following one family - the Crawfords of Brigsteer - through the hound trailing year. (This is not a blood sport, nor a substitute, because the hounds simply race one another across the fells, following an aniseed scent.) The pictures formed the basis of a major touring show, sponsored by Northern Arts, but prints have never before been commercially available. (Please note that this work was shot on film, which I have scanned, and which we now print from digital files. In my view the current versions better represent the work than my original, darkroom made prints did.)
