Big Build Appeal 2022

Charlie House is a charity that is close to my heart, based in Aberdeen, it was founded in 2011, with the goal of improving quality of life for babies, children and young people in the north east of Scotland who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and to provide support for their families. In 2018 they launched the Big Build Appeal to raise £8m to build a dedicated support centre in Aberdeen so that families don't need to travel over 100 miles to get the specialist support they need.

In November 2022, as part of their tireless fundraising efforts to build the much needed support centre they held the Big Build Ball, a black tie dinner with a silent auction.

I was delighted that my framed fine art print Seilebost leis fhein raised over £300 on the night. I really hope their target is reached soon and work can finally begin on the dedicated support centre in Aberdeen.
